Working in property has shown me how much this industry depends on the people behind it—and how often those people need more support.
I've seen property managers carry enormous workloads, manage frustrated landlords and tenants, and deal with unreliable service providers. Their work can be demanding and stressful, with too little recognition for everything they do.
I've seen tenants receive service that falls short of what they deserve, and landlords frustrated by problems that remain unresolved.
I've also seen capable suppliers struggle to build viable businesses because work is inconsistent and competition centres heavily on price. Good service and quality workmanship can become difficult to sustain when businesses feel pressured to keep cutting their margins.
In my own experience, access to practical training, useful resources and a community to turn to for help was also missing.
These experiences shaped the idea behind PropertyPlus.
Everyone in property relies on someone else. Suppliers need strong relationships. Property managers need dependable service and support. Landlords and tenants need people who communicate, follow through and care about the outcome.
I'm building PropertyPlus to strengthen those connections: a community where people can share knowledge, find support, build their businesses and help improve the way the industry works.
By listening to the people doing the work and creating opportunities for them to succeed together, I believe we can make a meaningful difference across property.
Our success depends on the success of our community.
